Coastguard officers and RNLI volunteers have come to the aid of a broken down boat off the Cumbrian coast.
They were called to help a vessel shortly before 9pm last night.
The five-metre craft had run out of fuel.
When St Bees lifeboat arrived to help tow the boat back to Whitehaven marina, it supplied more fuel and the owner managed to restart the boat's engine.
The lifeboat escorted the vessel back to Whitehaven harbour.
