CUMBRIAN athlete Tom Farrell has qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio.
The Border Harriers runner from Carlisle finished second in the men's 5,000m at the British Athletics Championships in Birmingham this afternoon.
Farrell clocked in at a time of 13 minutes and 47 seconds and the result means he will represent Great Britain along with the race winner Andrew Buchart and double Olympic champion Mo Farah.
