A Carlisle man will be sentenced later this month after he admitted threatening to kill his ex-wife.
Keith Gillan, 36, appeared at the city's crown court via video link to face three charges, two relating to crimes committed against his former wife, Jenny.
Gillan admitted making a threat to kill Mrs Gillan, and approaching her home address in Carlisle, both on March 18, despite being banned by a restraining order.
In addition, Gillan pleaded guilty to a separate charge of having an article with a blade or point - a knife - in a Carlisle public place on December 10.
Judge Peter Davies adjourned the hearing until Thursday morning, when Gillan, of Fairfield Gardens, will be sentenced.
He was remanded in custody.
