A CARLISLE woman and a teenager have been warned they could face jail for supplying cannabis.
Jordan Carney, 19, appeared at the city's crown court today where he admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The offence was said to have been committed or before December 20 last year. It followed the police seizure of a class B drug stash - valued at around £1,500 - from the airing cupboard of a property at Carlisle's Hammond Close on that date.
The court heard that was the address of 47-year-old Nicola Bellas, who had pleaded guilty to the cannabis supply charge at a previous hearing. Her admission was made on the basis that she was involved to a lesser degree.
Recorder Ahmed Nadim adjourned the case of both Carney, of Ridley Road, Carlisle, and Bellas until December 16.
Both are on bail but have been warned that all sentencing options, including custody, will be open on that date.
