A father-of-two could face jail after he admitted supplying class A drugs.
At Carlisle Crown Court on Friday, Christopher John Gill, 28, admitted supplying heroin and crack cocaine between April 4 and 8 this year.
He also pleaded guilty to a separate charge of possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply on April 7.
No details about either of the offences were outlined during a brief hearing before Judge Peter Davies.
Gill's lawyer, Philip Andrews, asked for the case to be adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
He said Gill, a father to children aged four and one, had made full admissions of his crimes "from the outset".
"It is not a large quantity [of drugs], nor is it over an extended period of time," said Mr Andrews.
Judge Davies agreed to the adjournment, and listed Gill's case for sentence at the crown court on August 19.
"I am granting you bail, unconditional bail," Judge Davies said to Gill, of Dowbeck Road, Carlisle, "but you must understand that all [sentencing] options are open."
