A cyclist was airlifted to hospital after a collision involving a car in Penrith.
The 27-year-old man from Carlisle was treated by the Great North Air Ambulance Doctor at the scene before being flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he was in a comfortable condition on arrival.
The driver of the car, a Citroen Picasso, was a 51-year-old man from Penrith.
It happened at about 9.15am today.
