Burglars have targeted a north Cumbrian builder, raiding two of the firm's sites in the space of 24 hours.
Police are now investigating the two burglaries at the McKnights building sites in Aglionby and Wetheral, near Carlisle, between 4.30 pm on April 14 and 8.00 am on April 15.
Heavy duty tools were used to gain entry to containers, and tools were then stolen from inside.
An unidentified vehicle was used by the burglars to travel between the sites, and transport the stolen property.
Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the building sites, or who has heard vehicles in the area while the sites were closed.
If you can help the investigation call PC 2052 Whatman on 101, or email him on 101@cumbria.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously if necessary on 0800 555 111.
