Police have a launched an arson investigation after a caravan was set on fire.
The empty vehicle was parked on waste ground in William Street, Langholm when the fire was discovered at around 9pm on October 17.
Firefighters attended the blaze and put out the flames but the caravan was left seriously damaged.
Detective Constable Lee Smith said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the William Street area between 8pm and 9pm on Monday night.
"In particular we want to trace a number of youths, perhaps up to four males who were seen in the area around this time.
"All were described as being dressed in dark clothing and two may have had hooded tops with the hoods up."
He said anyone with information should call police on 101.
