Appeal to trace bogus tradesmen who conned north Cumbrian pensioner
Witnesses are being sought following a report that bogus tradesmen are operating in Brampton.
Police said that an 85-year-old woman, who lives on Irthing Park, had a large sum of money taken from her by two men who had advised her that the guttering on her house needed attention.
A spokesman said the men, in their 30s, were in a dark grey van.
Anyone who can help to identify the two men is asked to call 101.
