JLS pull out of Carlisle concert

Top pop band JLS have scrapped their summer show at Carlisle's Bitts Park.

Have your say

I bought tickets and I am fuming! I have taken the day of work as a holiday wich I can't change now and my little sister is devasted why leave it this long to change their minds!! Very dissapointed!

Oh dear oh dear. Then again who can blame them, maybe they were sent some pictures of the dive that is Carlisle and thought better!

E-mail from Gigantic says they will automatically refund tickets which means the event must be cancelled altogether. Though will only refund face value if tickets so they will be keeping £20 of my money is that even legal?

i think its dam right rude to all fans who have bought tickets and have arranged transport, all paid. I just hope they all get their money back in full. And maybe extra in compensation for the inconvenience. If the tickets have been sold then they Shouldnt have been aloud to cancel. Theres gonna be alot of upset and angry fans

I'm dreading telling my grandaughter!

So they say that its not know if any other acts will perform so how comes GIGANTIC have taken the concert off their site?

I think this is disgraceful! They have got the hopes up of people and then just pulled out! I hope we will get all our money fully refunded. If we don't get the money refunded there will be a lot of angry people

My kids were really looking forward to this concert and to then have the cheek to offer alternative tickets that are hundreds of miles a way is a joke. According to the website refunds are only going to be given on face value of the tickets, what about the booking fees and delivery fees (which tickets haven't even been delivered yet) that we have had to stump up are we getting that refunded??

Perhaps Joe Hendry would like to use "Carlisle, not as appealing as Scarborough" as our new slogan?

take money months in advance get a great lot of intrest cancel the concert somebodys made a lot of money for doing nothing.
everyone demanding a refund should also be paid the intrest it would have earned.
