Great news about carlisle dance academy my daughter is over the moon! This dance school doesnt seem to have anything to do with wendy though as they do not mention her on the facebook page? i think they deserve the credit for setting up and starting from scratch at this hard time not just being wendy allens old teachers. If it was anything to do with wendy allen surely they would be using her studios? Well done to the girls and good luck with your new project everyone is behind you. Also wishing wendy a speedy recovery back to full health her school was a big part of our lives xxx

Great News. The old Wendy Allen School Teachers are opening up a new dance school in Wigton and Carlisle. It can be found on Facebook named Carlisle Dance Academy.
I can think of no greater way to honour what Allens Dance school has achieved over the last 9 decades. Her children are giving the community back what was tragically lost when Allens Dance school closed suddenly.. This is the best result for everyone. It takes the pressure from Mrs Allen and allows her to focus on her health and takes care of the families who need dance in their lives.
Get well soon Wendy and Good luck to Wendy Allens old teachers in putting it all back together and reopening the old school rebranded. Lets hope it builds on the old school successes and contiunues itself for another 90 years.

Yes dancing queen, I've heard a rumour too that there is going to be a new dancing school run by someone who was at Wendy's. This will be great for all those children who love dancing. Good luck to them.

my daughter went there for a little while and you could tell just by speaking to wendy that the dance school was her life, all i can say is she must b really ill to close. get well soon wendy thinking of you xxxx
