A "large number" of iPads and Apple watches that were stolen from a Carlisle technology store last night were worth a whopping £70,000.
Members of the public called Carlisle fire crews as they had spotted smoke in the area.
When fire crews arrived they discovered the burglary and called the police.
Police were called at 7.54pm to the Stormfront store on English Street.
Officers confirmed that the thieves made off with about £70,000 worth of goods.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police believe that the offenders may be using a white long-wheel base Transit van."
