Former Carlisle woman killed in car crash

A woman who grew up near Carlisle has been killed in a car accident in Ireland.
Susan Brown (nee Hetherington) suffered fatal injuries in the two-car crash near her Belturbet home on June 6.
The angling enthusiast was driving to work at a stationary shop in Cavan town when the accident happened on the N3 at 8.45am.
The funeral of the 48-year-old was held in Belturbet Parish Church on June 11.
Her mother Eileen still lives near Carlisle and she still has many friends in Crosby on Eden. She also leaves her husband Derek, stepsons Stuart and Steven and sisters Anne and Judith.
