Flimby man charged with three counts of raping girl under 16

A west Cumbrian man has been charged with three counts of raping a girl under 16.

John Armstrong Farish, 56, of Westfield View, Flimby, is also accused of four counts of indecently assaulting a girl under 14, two counts of gross indecency with a girl under 14, an attempted rape of a girl under 16 and of non-consensual sex with a woman.

He is scheduled to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on April 7.
