Fire crews deal with barn blaze in Penrith

Firefighters put out a barn blaze at a farm on a farm on Carleton Avenue in Penrith in the early hours of this morning.

Three engines - two from Penrith and a third from Lazonby - were sent to the scene just before 3.30am. Two tractors, one trailer and an amount of silage were caught up in the fire.

The blaze was put out using two main jets and two hose reels.
