Fire breaks out at Cumbrian farm

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze which broke out at a farm.

Crews from Carlisle East and West and Workington were called to the incident at the farm on the road between Cain Bridge and Hornsby Gate, near Brampton, at 4.25pm today.

The blaze broke out in a small single-storey building used for incineration.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put the blaze out. A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed nobody was hurt and the cause is still unknown.

Yes. They should show they hear the voice of the people

No. The council needs the money and has to get it from somewhere

Town centres will suffer but the council will spend £10m on a new HQ. How can that be right?
