Fashion chain to quit Cumbrian town after 25 years

Six people will lose their jobs when a Workington fashion shop closes next month.

Dorothy Perkins, on Murray Road, will close because its parent company Arcadia Group decided not to renew the lease on the store.

Several members of staff have worked at the store since it opened 25 years ago.
