Emergency inspection at west Cumbrian care home

Inspectors have been called in to carry out an emergency visit at a west Cumbrian care home.

The Care Quality Commission, the body responsible for monitoring care homes, has revealed that its latest visit to Rosecroft Residential Home, in Westfield Drive, Workington, is as a result of “information” provided to them.

The home was last inspected in September 2013, when it was found to meet all five basic standards.
