Disney store to open in Carlisle

Cumbria's first Disney store is set to open in Carlisle.
It will replace the Qube Shoes shop which recently closed down in The Lanes and is expected to open within a few weeks.
Work is already underway on fixtures and fittings to give the premises the Disney sparkle.
A spokesman for the company could not reveal details about how many jobs will be created, but it is understood that recruitment has already begun.
Teresa Tideman, joint managing director of The Disney Store Europe Ltd, said: “We’re excited to be bringing Disney Store to The Lanes. We hope the store will be a great addition to the mall.”

I used to travel to Edinburgh for Christmas shopping & would get amlost everything from Lush & Disney Store, now we're going to have both so there is no reason for me to shop anywhere else now. Well done to The Lanes, you have got everything under one roof now. Can not wait to see the new Disney Store, exciting times.

Shame it is set to close down so soon, tough situation because aesthetically it was awful and unwelcoming but they obviously werent making the money to improve that. Awful for the staff though but Disney will look good on a cv!
