Last Saturday saw our sides involved in Cup games and League fixtures.

Dulwich Hamlet made their exit from the FA Trophy while Croydon F.C. progressed in the London Senior Cup.

In the First Division Whyteleafe shared the spoils at home with Harlow Town while Croydon Athletic were without a game and no doubt went on a spying mission to Sudbury Town ahead of this Saturday's FA Vase Fourth Round.

Dulwich Hamlet went out fighting in their 4-3 third-round loss to Braintree Town in the Trophy on Saturday.

Dulwich started brightly and struck first when Dave Stevens put them ahead and could have increased their lead when Charley Side missed a great chance.

But Braintree equalised on 25 minutes through Nobel and Simpson put the visitors in front just before half-time.

Manager Martin Eade injected some belief in his Dulwich side and with 15 minutes to go the Hamlet equalised when Side headed home on the back post.

Dulwich took the lead two minutes later when good work by Side allowed Declen Perkins to fire into the empty net but saw the match slip away in the last five minutes as Braintree stormed home to wrap up the tie through goals from Parratt and Simpson.

In the Senior Cup, Croydon defeated Erith and Belvedere 4-2. Croydon's scorers in this tie were young teenager Ryan Hill, who netted twice, new signing Carlton Chantillier and Dominic Barclay.

In the First Division of the Ryman League, Whyteleafe faced a Harlow Town team pushig for a promotion spot.

Whyteleafe could have taken an early lead but the Harlow keeper saved well from the head of Danny Arkwright.

Harlow bounced back to take the advantage on 27 minutes when Young headed home after good wide play from Olaleye but the Leafe came back strongly with efforts by Danny Tanner and Arkwright going close.

In the second half Whyteleafe's pressure finally led to a goal when Stuart Massey equalised seven minutes from time from Bowers cross.

In the dying minutes the home side should have scored the winner but the crossbar came to Harlow's rescue from Nwanze, whose shot looked destined for the Harlow net.

Saturday's fixtures: FA Vase 4th Round: Croydon Athletic away to Sudbury Town. Ryman Premier Division: Croydon FC home to Purfleet. Ryman Division One: Dulwich Hamlet away to Wealdstone; Whyteleafe away to Aylesbury.
