Cumbrian slimming trio shed 16 stones

THREE members of Whitehaven’s Slimming World are celebrating a healthy new year after shedding more than 16 stones.
Denise Foggin lost 6 stone 3lbs in four months, Jacqueline Agnew shed 6 stone 7lbs in eight months and Kelly Anderson 3 stone 8lbs.
Whitehaven’s Amie Meloy, who lost over 10 stone with Slimming World, is now the district manager for Cumbria and Lancashire.
She said: “Slimming World has joined forces with the Royal College of Midwives and encourages healthy eating throughout pregnancy helping to stem the tide of obesity before the next generation is even born.
