A singing duo have written a Christmas song which they hope will keep the X Factor single off the number one spot.

Have your say

Brilliant!

So maybe this song is not to everybody's taste but I say consider the charity's all the proceeds are going too. Buy it, Buy it, Buy it!

Wow, I find myself continually shocked by some people's attitude. 'Only a dingbat would spend' 89p that goes to three excellent charities? 89p!!

Talk about the grinch who stole christmas! But don't worry Kristy, I'm sure cancer research, the hospice or the nspcc don't need your 'hard earned cash'!

Love it or hate it, surely everyone can agree that your 89p' is better in the hands of those who need it than in Simon Cowell's pocket? This Dingbat right here will be purchasing with pride!!

In reply to Kristys comment:

Although this song may not be everyones cup of tea, that you believe being compared to the Proclaimers is an insult (i'm sure any one of us would agree that if we could live off one song for the rest of our lives we would!!) and I'm sure stating that this is absolutely rubbish wont faze the lads in the slightest.

They are doing a great thing, putting a smile on peoples faces and reminding everyone what Christmas is about. AND most of all doing it all for 3 great charities.

If you believe spending 0.89p on a song for charity is a waste of money, thats your opinion, but thousands dont see it that way.

Buy the song folks. 100% of what is made is going to charity. Thats the winner right there!

Best of luck lads!

Absolute rubbish. More like a bad impersonation of the Proclaimers. Only a dingbat would spend good money on it.

Annoyingly catchy.

I'll be downloading it, but I'll wait till the week the Christmas No1 is calculated.

Well done guys - let's hope it goes viral (Twitter/Facebook etc)

Just absolutely brilliant! The video is so funny as well. Can't wait to buy it!

What a great video, can't wait to download the song!
Money to those two charities and the Eden Valley Hospice - I don't need any other reason to buy it!
Good on you Steve and Rob!

Will the Union Cairn make a difference to the 'No' vote campaign?

Yes, it's an effective way of getting across the fact Scotland and England should stay united

No, people have already made their mind up which way they are going to vote

No. It may backfire because some Scots will say it is the English interfering in their referendum
