Cumbrian man found dead in woods was epileptic - inquest

A man found dead in woodland was an alcoholic who had problems with epilepsy, an inquest has heard.
Peter McDowell, 57, of Scotby Close, Carlisle, was found by a dog walker in woodland in the Durranhill area of Carlisle last October.
He was found face down on top of a crushed can of Strongbow cider with a blue rucksack on his back containing more unopened cans.
But a toxicology test revealed that the level of alcohol in Mr McDowell’s blood was extremely low
Dr Roberts recorded a verdict of death by natural causes following an epileptic seizure.
