Cumbrian dog fetched home medal in Olympia agility

A DOG-HANDLER from Wigton took second place in a dog agility final with his crossbreed Libby.

Steven Richardson and his dog came second in the medium agility stakes final at the Kennel Club Olympia, in London.

They competed against hundreds of other dogs and handlers in the London International Horse Show.

Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club secretary said: “The Olympia Agility Stakes is one of the major dog agility events in the UK each year.

“It’s such a special atmosphere, everybody is feeling festive and it really is a wonderful event.

“Congratulations to Steven and Libby– it was a very tightly contested final.”
