Police are on the look out for a man who tried to grab two young girls as they walked along a path in Penrith

The pair, who were not hurt, were walking along a path in Penrith when he tried to grab them and get them to speak to him.

He was described as being white, aged between 30 and 40, of chubby build, balding with a bushy greying moustache.

At the time of the incident, between Bridge Street at York Street at about 6pm yesterday, he was wearing a black fleece and blue jeans.

Anyone who can help identify him should call police on 101.
