Cumbria police appeal after OAP's bag snatched

Police are trying to find a woman after a handbag was snatched from a supermarket in Carlisle.

The 75-year-old victim was shopping in Aldi on Petteril Bank Road when her bag was taken from her trolley on Wednesday, October 30.

Police have issued a CCTV photo of a woman they want to speak to and who may be able to help with their inquiries.

Anyone who recognises the woman or has any information about the theft should call police on 101.

Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
