Crash causes delays in central Carlisle

Motorists are facing rush hour delays in Carlisle city centre following an accident.

One lane has been closed at the Hardwicke Circus roundabout after a two-vehicle collision.

The incident happened shortly before 5.30pm on the A595 Castle Way westbound between the exit for the A7 and Devonshire Walk.

No-one is thought to have been hurt in the crash but traffic is heavy in the area.

Will changes to the stop and search code increase your trust in the police?

No. Who's to say the new code will be followed faithfully?
