Collabro's next BGT final rivals chosen

Two contestants Carlisle’s Matthew Pagan and his group Collabro will face in the Britain’s Got Talent final were picked tonight.

Nine acts took to the stage in the third semi-final, broadcast on ITV, with two progressing to the next round after a public vote.

Classical singer Lucy Kay went straight through to the final after winning the public vote. She was given a standing ovation from all four judges after she sang Nella Fantasia by Ennio Morricone and Chiara Ferrau. Amanda Holden said: “It was the most beautiful, enchanting piece of music I have heard in a long time.”

Dance group Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Medhi, all of whom are from France, were the best-performing runners-up and danced to a medley of house music.  Simon Cowell described them as "the cherry on the top” of the show.

They will both compete against Collabro in the competition final on Saturday, June 7. The other finalists so far are magician Darcy Oake, singer James Smith and dance troupe The Addict Initiative.
