Christmas Toy Appeal logo

Help us make Christmas special for all children

No child should wake up on the most magical morning of the year without a present to open.

So today, we are launching the News & Star Christmas Toy Appeal to ensure Santa can reach more homes in Cumbria.

In conjunction with CFM radio, we are appealing to big-hearted Cumbrians to help fill Santa’s sacks with toys for needy, disadvantaged and sick children.

We know he’s always under pressure at this time of year. With our readers’ generosity, we are happy to offer one, supporting the hugely-respected Cash For Kids charity.

As a partner with CFM’s Mission Christmas, we can ensure that many of the neediest in our communities can share the joy of the festive season, whatever their circumstances.

To do that though, wee need your help – for you to show the goodwill you have so many years in the past.

We’re looking for donations of new, unwrapped toys; selection boxes; tins and boxes of sweets; books and games so that boys and girl of any age can be sure of a surprise this Christmas.

Adding just one extra gift to your Christmas shopping list can make a huge difference.
