Vandals caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to two cars in Whitehaven.
The vehicles were both scratched down the offside door and panels in the Hensingham area.
The first, a Kia Sportage, was vandalised between 5.30pm on Tuesday and 8.25am on Wednesday, as it was parked on Ullswater Avenue. It will cost about £300 to repair.
A Mini Cooper car was scratched the following night, between 6pm on Wednesday and 8am yesterday in Wythburn Road, causing £200 damage.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact PC 1237 Mason at Whitehaven police station by calling 101.
