Carlisle woman denies aiding and abetting indecent assaults

A 54-year-old Carlisle woman has appeared before magistrates accused of two allegations of aiding and abetting indecent assaults on two young girls.

The offences allegedly happened on dates between January 1, 1990 and December 31, 1997, in Carlisle, magistrates were told.

The same man is alleged to have been involved on each occasion. The woman pleaded not guilty to both allegations and magistrates sent the case to Carlisle Crown Court.
