Man charged with robbing Carlisle off licence

A man has been charged after an alleged robbery at a Carlisle off-licence.

The incident is said to have taken place at Booze Buster on Blackwell Road at 7.45pm on Monday.

Martin William Forster, 22, of Raven Nook, Carlisle, has been charged with

  • robbery
  • possession of a weapon in a public place
  • burglary of a property on Crossway, Carlisle, on August 1

He is due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court tomorrow.
