Carlisle man's affray charge dropped

A man who faced a charge of affray has had the case against him dropped.
Thomas Martin Tweedy Hill, 21, of Flower Street, Carlisle, was charged with the offence after an alleged incident on June 7 in which the boss of Concrete nightclub Tim Ip was seriously hurt.
He appeared at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on Thursday when one count of affray was withdrawn.
