Carlisle man denies injuring girlfriend

A man from Carlisle is to go on trial next month accused of injuring his girlfriend.

Kurt Brown, 37, who used to live in Brookside, pleaded not guilty at the city’s Crown Court to causing actual bodily harm to Lynn Ferguson in an incident on January 30.

Brown, who is now homeless, was remanded in custody and will go on trial in the week of May 26.
