West Cumbrian mum in line for national business award

A mother of two has been nominated in this year’s national Mumpreneur Awards.

Kerry Newham, from Crosby, near Maryport, runs KGN Administration and Event Services.

The business was launched in 2011 as a way for Kerry to stay at home with her young children.

The Mumpreneur Awards 2012 are the UK’s first national business awards dedicated solely to mums in business.

Now in its fourth year, the awards have been a platform for many mothers to enhance their business.

Kerry has been nominated in the Best Start-Up category and The Inspirational Business Mum Award.

Kerry will find out out in August whether she has made the finals, at the Heart of England Conference Centre in Warwickshire on September 30.
