Last updated at 13:31, Monday, 30 April 2012
A travel consultant from Whitehaven has been chosen as one of 20 people from the UK to become an ambassador for Disneyland Paris.
Nadime Dixon, who works at the Thomas Cook store the King Street, entered a nationwide search launched by the French theme park to find travel consultants to represent Disneyland Paris in the UK.
The search is part of its 20th birthday celebrations and includes an all-expenses-paid three-day trip to Disneyland Paris in April.
She said: “I'm over the moon to be chosen as a representative for Disneyland Paris.
“My trip in April with the other ambassadors will allow us to get to know the new events planned for the park’s birthday celebrations so we can pass on our advice and experiences to customers and colleagues.”
