Changes to the senior management team at CN Group were announced this week.
Editors of the company’s publishing titles including The Cumberland News, News & Star and North-West Evening Mail, now report to group development director Jonathan Lee.
Jonathan, now based at CN Group’s Carlisle head office, has been with the business for nine years.
Among his previous roles were managing director, publisher and editor at the company’s Barrow centre.
The change, which brings together the multi-media company's audience, digital and content teams, has seen the departure of group editorial director David Helliwell, who had been with the company since 2011.
CN Group, which employs 376 people, continues to build total audience across digital, print, audio and events and has scooped a string of industry awards.
The group, which also publishes Cumbria Life, Carlisle Living, and monthly business magazine in-Cumbria, and this week launched its 2017 in-cumbria Business Awards, said it will continue to invest in quality journalism.
