ROMAN solider Maximus will be opening a new pharmacy in Haltwhistle tomorrow.
The Alliance Pharmacy in Eden House, Westgate, has gone full circle from when it was originally a Boots shop.
Forty years ago Timothy White and Boots merged into one shop and then, 10 years ago, it was bought by the Alliance Pharmacy.
The store, which has had an extensive refit, is one of more than 700 across the UK to change its name to Boots over the next two years. Customers will be able to enjoy a greatly improved range of beauty and lifestyle products as well as expert healthcare and a prescription service.
Products such as No.7, Botanics, FCUK and Ted Baker will also be on sale.
Martin Merriman, manager of the new-look store, said: “Haltwhistle will see the very best of community pharmacy in its new ‘your local Boots pharmacy’ store.
“We’ve always been proud to provide a professional local pharmacy and dispensing service to our customers, close to where they need it.
“Now, we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers even better healthcare services and a fantastic new range of products.”
Customers will get triple advantage card points when they shop there tomorrow.
