THREE Cumbrian organisations have been shortlisted in the 2008 north west PRide awards.
The PRide Awards showcase the best PR work being carried out across the UK and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel in November.
Windermere’s Osprey Communications is nominated in the Best Use of Media Relations and Best Small Consultancy categories, while Allerdale Council will be aiming to take gold in the Best Public Sector campaign.
In the Best Newspaper or Magazine category, Sellafield’s PR and communications team has been shortlisted for its magazine Focus.
Dave Sanders, chairman of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) North West, says: “The PRide Awards just seem to get more and more exciting each year.”
