CUMBRIAN accommodation owners are reaping the benefits of a new online booking system.
Eviivo frontdesk was designed specifically for bed and breakfasts and guesthouses and owners are seeing immediate results.
Peter Haynes, owner of the Lovelady Shield Country House Hotel in Alston, said: “We already had a steady flow of business but have seen a 10 per cent or more increase in room sales.”
Colin Ramsey, who took over the String of Horses Inn, Faugh, three months ago commented; “Frontdesk is a very powerful tool, the main benefits are being able to take online bookings based on actual availability and therefore not having to allocate or get rooms back.
“It’s the way forward for the whole industry”.
