Chances of crashing are in the stars

YOUR star sign can affect the chances of you having a car crash, a study claims.
A new study commissioned by the Co-operative Insurance of more than 700,000 motor claims over a five-year period, showed a strong link between a person’s zodiac sign and the likelihood of being involved in a road accident.
Equal first place in the survey went to the late autumn signs, Sagittarius, and Scorpio.
Aries was the worst, responsible for nearly nine per cent of all road accidents. Astrologers said the sign’s natural “me first” characteristic could contribute to dangerous driving.
David Neave, the firm’s director of general insurance, said: “While this survey yields some surprising results, consumers can rest assured that The Co-operative Insurance will not be considering adding star signs to our list of rating factors in the future. It’s also important to put this into context with the huge overall improvement on road safety seen in recent years.”
