Michael Owen: I have to echo John's comment - what has UK VAT law got to do with the EU? Does your contribution represent the official Carlisle UKIP position on chocolate cakes and is it in line with The Great Farage's own thinking on VAT, chocolate and the great EU anti-British chocolate biscuit conspiracy?

so if we want to be tax free on our chocolate biscuits,we wont buy them.but if the entire generations of people in the uk do that,we can say by-by to our biscuit industries,and bakers.

It really is time that the UK tax system was sorted out properley and made very simple, but these days we cannot do anything without the EU, and no doubt we will have to fall in line with what the commissars in Brussels tell us.

Mr Tax man you tax me on my clothes I wear for work, my petrol to get to work, my car I drive to get to work, the road tax for the road I use to get to work, the shoes I wear to walk from my car to work,my wages I earn to pay for my poll tax and now you want to tax me on my flaming chocolate biscuit I eat at work, why not take all my wages and give me £5 back at the end of my working week?? because thats all I end up with! rip off britain strikes again.
