Big jackpots won at west Cumbrian bingo clubs

Two big jackpots were scooped at bingo clubs in Cumbria in just two days.
The first, on Sunday, was when a woman won £28,500 at Opera Bingo in Whitehaven.
Her amazing luck was followed by a £23,000 jackpot at the Workington bingo club on Tuesday night.
Opera Bingo marketing manager Charlotte Kennedy said the two west Cumbrian wins were “a brilliant start to the New Year”.
“The last time we had two big national game winners in such a short space of time this was followed by a third big win at one of our other clubs, so fingers crossed it could be Carlisle’s turn next.”
Neither woman was willing to be identified, she added.
