In this photo gallery are the faces of some of the worst offenders who have helped bring misery to the streets of north and west Cumbria.
They are all now behind bars after police investigated their crimes and the courts gave them lengthy jail sentences.
Work by police officers has seen a number of offenders taken off the streets - and now you can browse the News & Star's criminals gallery to see exactly what they look like.
Cumbrian detectives have issued a warning to anyone thinking of picking up the mantle, highlighting the lengthy spells in prison for anyone caught.
