Attack in restaurant investigated by Cumbria police

Police are investigating after a vicious attack at a restaurant.

A man was punched twice in the face by another man after a coffee was knocked over in McDonald's in Whitehaven.

The victim received what police say were minor injuries.

The assault took place at about 4pm on Sunday, April 27. The details have just been released by police.

Anyone with information should call 101.
