A man who stole nine packs of gammon steaks has appeared in court.
Terry David Walsh, of West View Walk in Workington, admitted stealing the meat, which cost £27 in total, from Asda on Moss Bay Road.
The 34-year-old was fined £340 and ordered to pay £85 costs as well as £27 compensation to the supermarket.
When he was leaving, district judge Gerald Chalk, said: "Let's not see you back in court."
