Workington man appears in court after failing to pay council tax
A Workington man has appeared in court for failing to pay his council tax.
Darren Greggain, 42, of Bolton Street, was found guilty of failing to pay arrears of £1,144.49 council tax to Allerdale council between March 2016 and April 2017.
He appeared at magistrates court in Workington on Tuesday and was sentenced to 30 days in prison suspended on the condition he pays the debt by monthly instalments.
