A woman had a lucky escape after her car spun and crashed onto its side.
It happened at Moorhouse, near Carlisle, yesterday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the one-vehicle crash at 6.45pm.
The woman escaped with cuts, bruises and a broken finger.
Firefighters from the Carlisle West station helped the woman from the vehicle and handed her into the care of paramedics.
A spokesman said: "The car had spun and turned onto its side. She was extremely lucky not to have been more seriously hurt."
