A woman accused of two dishonesty offences will go on trial in front of a jury later this year.
Two charges were put to Lisa Joy Bradley, 49, of Cockermouth, when she appeared at Carlisle Crown Court.
Bradley, of Gote Road, denied one count of fraud which alleges she dishonestly failed to disclose capital - in excess of the prescribed upper limit - to the Department for Work and Pensions, intending to make a gain for herself of employment support allowance.
She also pleaded not guilty to dishonestly failing to notify a change in circumstances between May, 2013, and June, 2015.
This alleges that she failed to promptly notify Allerdale Council she possessed capital above the prescribed upper limit, knowing it would affect her housing benefit entitlement.
Bradley was told by Recorder David Potter her trial - which is estimated to last two days - would take place at the crown court in the week of October 30.
She was granted bail by the judge until then.
