Witness appeal in relation to assault in west Cumbria
POLICE are appealing for a potential witness who may be able help with their investigation into an assault in Whitehaven.
Two arrests were made in relation to the incident of GBH on July 2 and the suspects were released under investigation.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said as part of their on-going inquiries officers are appealing for a potential witness in their efforts to identify a taxi driver who picked up a woman in the town centre between midnight at 2am on July 2. She was taken to Derwentwater Road.
The force provided no other details.
